Mandali ("we", "us", "our") is a group companion application that helps groups of people share memories, play Housie, and stay connected. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Mandali mobile application and related services.
By using Mandali, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
We do not use your information for advertising purposes. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
Information you share within a group — including your name, profile photo, uploaded photos, and Housie game activity — is visible to all members of that group. Please be mindful of what you share within groups.
We use the following third-party services to operate Mandali. Each processes data only as necessary to provide their service:
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, or investigate fraud.
Your data is stored on servers located in Bangalore, India (DigitalOcean) and Singapore (Supabase). We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure token-based authentication, and access controls to protect your personal information.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
You can view your personal information within the app at any time via your Profile screen.
You can update your name and profile photo in the app settings at any time.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@prexoratech.com or by using the Delete Account option in your Profile settings. We will process your request within 30 days.
Note: If you are an admin of a group, deleting your account will transfer admin rights to another member or dissolve the group. Photos you uploaded to group memories will be deleted. Your Housie game history will be anonymised rather than deleted to preserve group leaderboard integrity.
You can disable push notifications at any time via your device settings (iOS: Settings → Notifications → Mandali) or within the app.
You may request a copy of your personal data by emailing support@prexoratech.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Mandali is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@prexoratech.com and we will delete that information promptly.
Users between the ages of 13 and 18 should use the app only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
The Mandali mobile application does not use cookies. Our backend may use session tokens to maintain authentication state. These tokens are stored securely on your device and are not used for tracking or advertising purposes.
Mandali may allow you to share content via third-party platforms such as WhatsApp. When you use these share features, the third-party platform's own privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by sending a push notification or displaying a notice within the app. The updated policy will be effective as of the date shown at the top of this page.
Your continued use of Mandali after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
